Hi, I'm Amy King, the founder of Whimzany. I have always had a vision for design and enjoy leaning into my God-given gift to create. I have a BFA in Interior Design and worked as a designer until becoming a mommy. Staying home with my girls was such a delight! Even as a stay-at-home mommy, I was always designing, creating, and planning the next occasion to celebrate (and this was before Pinterest!) I dreamed about having my own business. While designing our family Christmas photo card in 2009, I decided to give a name to my dream and Whimzany was born.

When my girls, Abby & Tori, needed to raise money for school trips we worked together as a family to make fliers and design products to sell. Brian, my business minded husband, has been my anchor and so helpful in starting my business.

I opened my Whimzany Etsy shop in the fall of 2019. It brings me joy to create personalized & inspirational products and work with clients on custom creations too!
